Dakhla Attitude and the lagoon next to the resort are a kiteboarding paradise. The lagoon is known for its stunning scenery and stable winds. accommodation
Dakhla Attitude Resort is located in a beautiful location, right next to the lagoon, near the Speed spot. We sleep 10 nights in bungalows for 2 people. It is also possible to take a bungalow for one person. ***VIP bungalows are more spacious, fruit and coffee are served and the price includes storage and rescue. Each bungalow has its own bathroom with a large shower. Towels and linen are included, and the bungalows are cleaned daily. There is an all-inclusive restaurant inside the resort. WiFi is free and available throughout the resort and works great. Basically, once you enter the resort you don't need anything else. Additional excursions and drinks at the beach bar are written in your name (no cash required) and are paid for at the end of your stay at the reception. Inside the resort you can find a spacious restaurant, gym, paddle courts, spa center, wakelift, beach bar, etc. A kite spot with equipment storage is located just a few meters from the bungalows.
kiteboarding spot
At the kite spot you can find a spacious storage room with lockers and all your equipment can be left there. Storage is paid for an additional 9eur per day and you have unlimited rescues included (VIP guests have storage included in the price). The water temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius, and the air temperature is 20-25, the nights are a little cooler and ideal for a comfortable sleep. The wind blows daily from the northeast and the average wind speed in October is 20-25 knots. The sun is quite strong there, don't forget to take a good sunscreen. A short or long summer neoprene suit 3/2 will be more than enough. The water in the lagoon depends on the tide. When the lagoon is full, it is possible to kite on the flat and shallow water. During low tide, there will be much more space for lowering and raising kites, and the water in the lagoon will be more choppy. Beach boys will be working at the spot and will always help you raise the kites. There are compressors on the beach for preparing kites. To go to the Speed spot (our resort is the closest) we will organize a tractor to take us there. The sea at the Speed spot is almost mirror-like. There are always lifeboats on the water in front of our resort, watching everything.
Kiteboarding school will be arranged when booking the trip. On the first day, we will organize (for those who want) a spot introduction, safety instructions and kite launching and launching exercises. We will organize, at least once, a downwind trip to the White Dune, which is a must-see in Dakhla.
travel plan
We are traveling with Royal Air Maroc from Venice, Marco Polo Airport. Our meeting point will be Marco Polo Airport, departure gate. It is also possible to arrange a shared trip to the airport. We will travel on connecting flights Venice-Casablanca-Dakhla. Food is provided on both flights. We have a shuttle service from Dakhla Airport to our resort. Estimated arrival time is the next day shortly after midnight.
Baggage included in the price: Standard checked baggage 23 kg and checked baggage 23 kg with dimensions up to 220x40x40cm + hand luggage 10kg.
