Kiteboarding school

Our kiteboarding school is located in Bol on the island of Brač. The school is available during the summer months from June to mid-September. The school uses the latest equipment from the well-known and popular brand North Kiteboarding. Lessons are conducted from a boat due to the deep water, with a maximum of 2 students at a time. We exchange one kite between students, where each student practices with the kite 2 times for 25 minutes. The practical part of the lesson from the boat starts every day in the afternoon with a planned start around 1:00 PM for the first group, around 3:00 PM for the second group and around 5:00 PM for the third group, of course, all depending on what time it starts to blow. The Maestral is a thermal wind that does not blow during the morning, so it always goes to sea in the afternoon. The theoretical part of the lesson starts every day at 11:00 AM before the wind becomes good enough to go to sea. Conducting lessons in this way has many advantages, as proven by our extensive experience in kiteboarding.

boat lesson

A lesson from a boat with 2 participants lasts about 2 hours, and with 1 participant 1 hour.
Before going on to the practical part of the course, complete beginners must complete the mandatory theoretical part of the course. Without completing the theory, it is not possible for a complete beginner to go to sea.

discovery lesson

Discovery lesson is for someone who wants to try and get a feel for the sport. 1.5 hours of theoretical lessons on the beach and 1 boat lesson are included. After completing the discovery lesson, if you liked it, it is possible to continue with the boat lesson package.

lesson package

The boat lesson package is for students who are complete beginners, beginners with some experience or more advanced kiters who would like to become independent or improve their skills and start learning more advanced things. This package includes 4 boat lessons. The package can be completed in 4 days. Complete beginners have 1.5 hours of theoretical lessons included before going to sea.

IKO Standards

Our courses are conducted according to IKO standards with IKO licensed instructors.

Although kiteboarding is considered an extreme sport, you don't need strong arms, torso, or legs to start practicing the sport, nor do you need any special fitness training. Of course, with better fitness, everything is much easier, but the sport is very accessible to all ages and levels of physical fitness. Hand-foot coordination when learning is one of the most important skills, and with composure and control of emotions, progress is extraordinary.
